Frequently Asked Questions

Tree Tiffany Table Lamp
Are these authentic Tiffany lamps?

Strictly speaking, an authentic Tiffany lamp is a lamp that was crafted by Tiffany Studios under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany between the years 1890 to 1930. Such lamps cost at least $4,000, and one even sold for $2.8 million at auction in 1997. By this strict definition, none of the lamps on this site are authentic Tiffany lamps, and indeed, you likely will not see an authentic Tiffany lamp for sale anywhere online.

However, “Tiffany lamp” nowadays refers to a leaded stained glass lamp produced using the same methods developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 1800s. By this broader definition, the lamps on this site are indeed authentic, because they are handcrafted in the same manner as those created by Tiffany Studios. Just don’t expect to see any of our lamps priced at over $4,000.

Who manufactures the lamps on this site?

All lamps sold by Unique Chic Decor are manufactured by Warehouse of Tiffany, based in Los Angeles, California. Orders placed on this website are given to Warehouse of Tiffany, who will ship the lamp(s) directly from their manufacturing facility.

When will my lamp be delivered?

Orders may take between 2 and 5 business days to process. Shipping takes between 3 and 7 business days. Your lamp is likely to arrive anywhere between 1 and 2 weeks after your order. On rare occasions, your lamp may take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

Can I get expedited shipping?

All lamps are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Because the manufacturer does the shipping, we are not able to request expedited shipping. However, shipping is free with every order.

How do I return my lamp?

Please visit our Return Policy page for instructions on returning your lamp.

Will the lamp get damaged during shipping?

Each lamp is securely packaged in specially fitted styrofoam to ensure safe shipping. If lamps were damaged routinely during shipping, we could not stay in business. Rest assured, your lamp will arrive intact and undamaged.

Can I just purchase the lampshade instead of the entire lamp?

While the stained glass lampshade is the centerpiece of the eye-catching lamp, having a uniquely-crafted matching base completes the lamp and ensures the proper effect. Each of our lamps is designed with this overall aesthetic in mind, so we do not sell lampshades separately. However, the lampshade and base are shipped unattached (to be assembled by you at home), so if you are intent on placing your lampshade on a different base, you can do so.

Is it difficult to assemble the lamp?

Lamp assembly requires only three straightforward steps. It is many times easier than assembling even the simplest IKEA furniture. If you can screw in a light bulb, you can assemble our lamps.

Why are the lamps so expensive?

Each lamp contains hundreds of pieces of hand-cut glass, each of which must be soldered together. This is a painstaking process that requires hours of work from skilled artisans. Lamps made during the late 1800s and early 1900s by Louis Comfort Tiffany cost at least $4,000, so our lamps are actually surprisingly inexpensive by comparison.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Unfortunately, no, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
